A Casual Corner of Thoughts

Teachers are the second beautiful gifts we have after our parents. They are like our family, who teach us, beyond their subjects, educate us beyond our knowledge and guide us beyond our imaginations. They are the foundation stones for our better, disciplined lives.

A teacher is termed as 'Guru', meaning one in the place of God. They are the only ones, who go beyond their limits to simplify the subject and educate the child in all fields. Their profession is wonderfully designated as a noble profession, where the teachers share their best knowledge with the students, expecting nothing in return.

Times immemorial, the education system has seen a revolutionary change. From Gurukul system to School Education, we have seen numerous amendments in the teaching methodologies, education levels and quality of education.

In the present education system, we have updated revised syllabus, trained educators and teachers with developed teaching aids. Gurukul system of education, School education, Online teaching, One-to-one teaching are some of the platforms through which education is imparted today.
What is the Role of a Teacher in a Student’s life?

Compared to the age old times, the relationship between the teacher and students has been more relaxed. The students are given more opportunity to discuss their doubts and problems related to the subject. In the same way, the teachers are friendlier, in their approach towards their students. In holistic education, teachers provide ample opportunity to every student, to excel in different fields of their interest, along with education.

I can say, the gap between the 'Teachers' and 'Students' is bridged now. This is indeed better, as it motivates and hikes the interest of the students, to learn and know more about the subject. The positive attitude towards the teacher's, indirectly helps the students to learn their subjects, in a better manner. This also helps in the development of confidence, humbleness and progressive attitude in the mindset of the students.

In the present generation, students are lost in the social media, peer group pressure, parental pressure and career oriented stress. By creating a better healthy rapport between Teacher and Students, many Student oriented problems can be reduced.
