An Essay on Helping Family at Home

Family is the best thing that we all have. We all love our family and we respect each member in our family. We always try to keep our family happy. We are all aware that each family is completely different from the other. We all are glad to be a part of our own families. You must have heard the full form of FAMILY - 'Father and Mother I Love You.' Yes! Always a family consists of a father and a mother and children. Most of the families also have grandparents too. Hence that makes one complete and a beautiful family.

We must always remember that all do not have families like we have today. This you will come to know when you visit old age homes and orphanages. They wait to see if someone would come to visit them. In this situation we must thank God for giving such a wonderful family for us.

While we thank for having such a wonderful family, we need to see to it that we share work equally. There are many daily or routine works at home. Work such as cooking, cleaning, washing and much more. We all have witnessed this in our own families. We know that all these works cannot be done by a single person in the family. We all must help each other in the completion of work, only then we become a part of helping hand in our family.

As a child we see our parents working. Parents go to work every single day to earn a living and in addition they also work at home too. Let’s sit back and understanding their situation. We must give a helping hand at the work they do at home. You must be thinking how to help? Firstly go to your parents and ask them how can I help you? They will either tell you the work or some parents will not like to divide work with their children depending on their age or for other reasons. If they give you the work, do it with a happy face and not in anger. Secondly, do your own works by yourself. Own work such as washing your own place after meals, washing your clothes (if possible). Finally help younger ones at home. You may have younger brother or sister, do help them.

In each family Father has a lot of responsibility, specially looking after the entire house. He has to work hard in order to earn bread. He has to take care of all the things at home like bringing grocery items at home and much more. A Father also has the responsibility to lead their children in a good way. He also has to help his wife in the kitchen. Mother alone can't take care of the kitchen. At times when mother falls sick father has to take up the work. In some families Father take a lead role in cooking which is indeed nice.

Mother is considered as a heart of every family. We all know that mother is the one who loves us more. We must help in all possible ways and make her happy. Remember not to get a single drop of tear in her eyes. We must never hurt our mother. Instead we need to take care of her and help her as much as possible.

We might be thinking that by helping our family in terms of work is the only form of helping. No! Many children at home, parents, elders are felt lonely at times. They might be in a difficult stage. At such point of time we must talk to them and find out the problem that they are going through. Helping children in studies is also considered as a great help. Hence there are many ways one could help his or her family.

We may come across a situation where few or one member in the family is not good. Try to identify what that person is trying to do. Help that particular person to come up in life. Talk to him or her in your best way possible and be a change in their life. Thus you can create wonders in your family by lending a helping hand.
