There was a time where people use to write letters and post them to their friends, families, near and dear ones. This was the only means of communication in the olden days before mobile phones came into existence. Later landlines phone was invented and finally mobile phones. These mobile phones are now updated and termed as smart phones.

Am quite sure that, each one of you has a mobile phone and probably you might be reading this essay using the same phone. The real purpose of having a mobile phone is to communicate with people who are far away from us. But as the days pass by new features are being added to it and all of you are aware of this fact. Some features such as camera, Wi-Fi, internet connection and much more. Definitely this is a positive sign because we are developing in terms of technology.

In very few schools and colleges, mobile phones are allowed. Not to play with it, neither to text with friends, but to utilize it for the purpose of education. There were days where one used to carry a dictionary to search for meanings, but now the world has changed. People install apps or browse on internet. Using mobile phones one can capture every moment of life and store it.

There are many good benefits in Mobile phones. Suppose you are traveling to a far distance, you can carry a mobile phone to communicate in case of emergency. You can send text messages or using various other social media apps to message you friends and dear ones. To send an email you need not find a computer, instead you can send it through your mobile phone.

Imagine you have come to a new place and you do not know which way to go, you can simply search you location and find the place you want to go. E-books are widely available and you can get access to them using your mobile phone. Capturing pictures, recording videos and even editing them can be done with the help of a mobile phone. You can now even perform bank transactions using your mobile banking app. Best thing about having a mobile phone is that you can carry it to any part of the world.

When we have so many advantages of having a mobile phone, we also have disadvantages as well. Mobile phones are really bad to human eye sights. Having a mobile phone makes human work easy but at the same time it makes a man lazy. This is because earlier one use to visit a library to check for some important content, but now everything is freely available in the mobile phone provided you have an internet connection. If you have stored some confidential content then there are chances that one may hack you mobile phone. One of the major disadvantages is that it contains things such as pornography, blue films and much unwanted content. Children and Youth get easily touched with this.

Having a mobile phone isn't bad at all. But using it in the right way is really important. Each and every day a new Mobile phone comes to market. They launch it with new added features. Each mobile price varies from one to another depending on the brand. Mobile phones have helped us in many ways. It gives us day to day news or updates on what is happening around the world. Children and others spend time by playing games on the mobile phone. Mothers check good food recipes to cook delicious food at home. Father does his day to day transactions using mobile banking. In these ways mobile phones has changed each and every one’s life by making things much easier and simple.
